Embrace Your Inner Drive

Push Yourself to New Heights

Hello Friends,

I hope this message finds you well and motivated. Today, I want to share a personal journey that illustrates a principle I hold dear: Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you.

A few years ago, I made a commitment to go to the gym four times a week. This wasn't easy, but it became a crucial part of my routine. As I gained strength and confidence, I incorporated running into my days off at the beginning of the year with the aim of preparing for a marathon. My first two big runs were both around 16 kilometers long, one of which was a challenging mountain run. Completing these was an incredible achievement.

Recently, I've started incorporating zone two workouts on my indoor bicycle trainer, aiming for one to three sessions weekly. Despite well-meaning advice to take more rest days, I’ve found a rhythm that works for me. I feel fitter and healthier than ever, with the only side effect being some weight loss - a topic for a future newsletter.

The key takeaway is this: push yourself because no one else will. Whether in fitness or any other aspect of life, the drive must come from within. Every challenge I've faced has proven we are capable of more than we imagine.

Thank you for letting me share this journey with you. I hope it inspires you to push your own limits.

Warm regards,
David
